The Challenges & Solutions

One of the most significant challenges on this project has been diverting overhead high-voltage power cables underground to fully unlock the site’s potential. This complex task required careful coordination with UK Power Networks, extensive legal work and detailed planning over several months. By engaging specialist subcontractors with the right expertise, we were able to successfully relocate the cables below ground — a solution that not only addresses safety and regulatory requirements, but also dramatically improves the visual and environmental quality of the site.
