Mosaic Bespoke was founded to solve a problem its clients kept running into: bespoke projects handed to builders without the planning, technical or commercial experience such work demands.
Our story
Built to be the alternative
Mosaic Bespoke was founded by Kevin Edge, who has over 30 years of experience across residential construction and property development. Time and again he saw private clients commissioning genuinely bespoke homes, then handing them to builders with no planning knowledge, no technical depth and no transparent cost process.
So the practice was built the other way around, as a design and build practice rather than a building firm. Between us we hold more than 35 years of planning and development experience, and we use it to shape a planning strategy that maximises what can realistically be achieved on your site.
We can take a project from first idea to front door keys, land appraisal, design, planning, structural engineering and construction, or step in on a construction-only basis when you already have drawings and consent. Either way there is one accountable team from start to finish, working to a fixed programme with weekly reporting, and one person you can call.

Founder
Over 30 years in design and build, with more than 100 bespoke homes completed. Kevin holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Project Management and has been interviewed on BBC radio and television about the industry. Deal of the Year and Development of the Year winner.
Oliver Crudgington
Independent New Homes Consultant
Oliver runs his own new homes consultancy, helping Mosaic clients and buyers elsewhere negotiate new home purchases. Seventeen years in estate agency, including eleven running his own firm, and since 2017 a specialist in land and development.
Nick Boorer FCIOB
Quantity Surveyor
Over 30 years in construction and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building. Nick leads project costing, cost analysis and commercial management.
Rob Wilkinson
Quantity Surveyor
Experience gained with major national housebuilders on larger developments. Rob oversees the commercial life of a project from land appraisal through to final account.
David Stillwell MCIAT
Architectural Technologist
Twenty years with Mosaic and a member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists. David leads the architectural design team, with a particular commitment to sustainable, low-energy homes.

Project Management
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building with over 30 years in residential development. Mike helps clients understand and reduce risk, and forecasts time and cost on our larger projects.
