When Chris approached Mosaic Bespoke to design and build a substantial new property, he envisioned an exceptional family home of the highest quality design and finish. From start to finish, Mosaic Bespoke impressed with their skill, professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
Achieving planning permission to replace a bungalow with a three-story property is a significant challenge. However, Mosaic Bespoke's extensive design and planning experience resulted in a proposal that satisfied all parties involved. Chris shares, "We were confident that a larger property could be built on the site, but I didn’t have the time to deal with it myself. Mosaic Bespoke handled all negotiations with the Planning department, and I was thrilled with the final design."
The resulting house is spectacular and stands as living proof of Mosaic Bespoke’s ability to handle large new build projects of the highest quality. The property features six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a huge kitchen diner, lounge, study, and family room. Each element, from the professionally designed lighting plan to the stunning German kitchen, has been carefully selected for its quality and contribution to the overall exceptional living experience.
Mosaic Bespoke designed and specified the entire project, anticipating every possible requirement for a house of this stature. Features include walk-in wardrobes, high-quality carpets, a feature staircase, Cat 5 cabling, Wi-Fi, a hard-wired alarm system, and an integral garage with remote control, an electric door, and sensor lighting. Chris emphasises, "Mosaic Bespoke knew I wouldn’t compromise on quality, and I soon found out that neither would they."
Mosaic Bespoke also managed the interior design, ensuring the home's aesthetics matched its structural excellence. Chris was particularly pleased with the luxurious finishes, including bespoke cabinetry, high-end fixtures, and a cohesive colour palette that enhanced the home's overall ambience. The solid oak and porcelain flooring on the ground floor, along with solid flooring on the first floor, met Chris's requirement for a quiet house, significantly improving the living experience by reducing sound transfer. Underfloor heating was installed on both the ground and first floors, adding to the comfort and efficiency of the home.
Chris was particularly impressed with Mosaic Bespoke’s proactive approach to addressing his specific needs, such as incorporating solid internal walls to enhance sound insulation. The building inspector was notably impressed with the house's airtightness, commenting on the exceptional standard achieved. The project, from demolition to completion, took only 7½ months and even finished ahead of schedule.
Chris's final word? "Absolutely, I would use Mosaic Bespoke again."
This luxurious home features inspirational design, the highest spec fittings, and quality in every detail. It’s easy to run out of superlatives when describing this stunning newly built house.
