When Laura and Neil moved into their new home, they already knew Mosaic was the right choice for the extension and refurbishment work needed. From their previous positive experience, Laura states, “We had no doubts about getting back in touch with Mosaic. They did a brilliant job at our last house, and we’d been happily recommending them to friends since then.” The couple was so satisfied with Mosaic’s work that they had them return twice – first to extend, rebuild, and refurbish the main house, and later to add a large garage, playroom, and a new driveway.

The project required planning permission, a challenging task in a Conservation area with protected trees. Mosaic’s extensive planning experience made the process smooth. “We were so glad that Mosaic handled all this,” says Laura. Mosaic managed the drawings, Design and Access statements and addressed concerns from the Council’s arboricultural specialists and the Highways department, ensuring all approvals were secured.

As work commenced, Neil particularly valued Mosaic’s financial management. “Knowing that we were getting value for money and that there wouldn’t be any nasty surprises on the finance front was a big thing for me,” he says.

The completed home is filled with highlights: a welcoming hallway, the warmth of high-quality wood throughout, bright loft rooms with beautifully constructed dormers, a stunning new conservatory replacing a cold, damp extension, and a stylish oak double garage and store with a playroom and WC above. Mosaic’s re-tiling of the main roof was so impressive that it was featured in Sandtoft’s brochures.

Years later, the lasting impression is of quality – in design, materials, and workmanship. The couple’s trust in Mosaic was well-placed. “At the end of the day, Mosaic demonstrated that they were completely trustworthy,” says Laura. “We trusted them with our family, our home, and our money, and they didn’t let us down.”
